Terms of Use
YAPPP · Last updated 15 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and YAPPP, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, for using YAPPP. By signing in, you accept them.
What YAPPP is
A map of activities other people have posted, and a way to ask to join them. We provide the software. We do not organise, run, supervise, endorse or attend any activity on it. Everything you see was written by another user.
Meeting people in person carries risk, and it is yours to manage.
We do not verify identity. We do not run background checks. A name and a photo on a card are what a person chose to provide, and nothing more. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. If you are in immediate danger, contact the local emergency services — not us.
Who may use it
You must be 18 or older. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
What you may not do
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or endanger anyone.
- Post an activity that is illegal, or that exists to sell something, recruit, or scam.
- Upload a photo that is not of you, or that you have no right to use.
- Use someone's location, photo or name from YAPPP for anything other than meeting them through YAPPP.
- Scrape, automate, or attempt to reach data belonging to other users.
- Try to circumvent a block. A block is final.
If you host
You choose whether your activity is open to anyone or requires your approval. Two things follow from that choice, and you should make it deliberately:
- An open activity publishes its exact location to everyone who can see the pin. If that location is your home, choose approval instead.
- A note on an approval activity is readable before anyone joins. Putting "back gate, third floor" in it hands out the location the approval door was holding back.
You decide who to admit and you may decline anyone. Do not decline people on the basis of race, religion, caste, sex, disability, or anything else the law protects.
Content you post
It stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people the app is designed to show it to, which is what makes the product work. That permission ends when you delete it — except for messages and notes inside an activity thread, which stay so the conversation remains readable to the people who were part of it. Our Privacy Policy explains this.
Safety reports
You can report a person, an activity, or a message from inside the app. We read reports and may remove content, or suspend or delete an account, at our discretion. We may keep a report even after the account it concerns is deleted.
We may end your access
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we judge that someone is unsafe. Where we reasonably can, we will say why.
The service is provided as it is
We do not promise YAPPP will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and we do not promise anything about the people you meet through it. To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for what happens at or because of an activity, and for any loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use YAPPP after that means you accept the new version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of
Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
